Welcome to Scholars American Bistro & Cocktail Lounge! We are located in Downtown Crossing, along Boston's historic Freedom Trail. Our hours of operations are 11 am until 2 am, seven days a week. with a late night food menu available until 1 am. Our billiards lounge,containing four custom built 8-ft. tables, is open seven days a week. The kitchen at Scholars features cuisine inspired by regional classics but original in its execution. The inclusion of some unconventional proteins such as rabbit, beef tongue, and pork belly offers something for the more adventurous patron, while comfort staples reference New England favorites. In addition to lunch and dinner, brunch is served on Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holiday Mondays from 11 am to 3 pm. The beverage program at Scholars features a sophisticated craft cocktail menu, an eclectic wine list, and an extensive beer selection.
